Project work: The research I did for this class highlighted the disease burden in developing countries. My focus was on schistosomiasis in Cambodia, and how this disease impacts the country's economic development. I recommended specific policies not just for the Cambodian government, but also for the Cambodia people, NGO's, other developing countries, and developed countries. Finally, I explored how these policies would impact the Cambodian culture.
