Project work: For this class I teamed up with three other students, and we reported on whether or not the timing was right to invest in multiple family dwellings in San Francisco. We looked at various macroeconomic conditions, trends in the local housing market, consumer behavior in the San Francisco real estate market, and alternative investments.
Other work: I presented on clutter and style, two topics from William Zinsser's book On Writing Well. I also updated my resume and learned some good strategies for job interviews. Many thanks to Professor Saytes for taking the time to help me with my resume!

Project work: I did more work for this class than all of my other classes COMBINED. OK, I'm exaggerating, but that is how it felt. For this class I teamed up with eight other students to perform an analysis of the wine industry in the European Union, with a focus on genetically modified foods.
Other work: I really improved my presentation skills in this class as I had to do four 30-second presentations. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I definitely got better at it. I also formulated a very detailed career plan.
