Project work: For this class I worked with two other students, and we explored how project management can help in the planning of a charity event. What made this project so interesting is that we weren't simply imposing project management on a problem. Instead, we went through a process where we could discover for ourselves where project management techniques made sense, but also when their use wouldn't be very practical.
Our presentation on the last day of class was so well received that my team was asked if we wouldn't mind being videotaped so that the College of Business would have an example of a good presentation. I don't think we could have received a higher compliment than that! It was such a great way to wrap up the semester.
