Seeking a future in global strategic management...
As a business professional with 13 years of experience in the IT field, I've taken on many project management roles, several of which were related to global rollouts of new technologies. I've worked for three years in the Asia Pacific region, and hope to return there someday.
I have a strong track record of improving efficiency through process improvement and cost reductions. Through my academic and professional exprience, I've developed strong research, analytical and planning skills. I've been recognized as someone who works well independently and on teams, and I have especially enjoyed working on very diverse teams in dynamic environments. I also have a proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical folks.
Now that I have finished the
MBA program at San Francisco State University, I have been given a wonderful opportunity to work in my target industry: health care. I hope that in my role as Business Analyst at Kaiser Permanente I'll be able to learn a great deal about how information technology and health care can be combined to provide high quality service to Kaiser Permanente's more than 8.6 million members. I have no doubt that the work I perform in this role will contribute greatly to my future career goals.
